In a secluded place, set in the middle of the Sierras de Cordoba, where the beauty of its scenery meets the peacefulness of the area, raises "El Puerto Alegre del Buen Senor", an old mansion built in the 18th Century, treasuring the misteries of past times back when the Jesuits inhabitated this lands.

The house, with its broad walls, bizarre grills, ancient doors and a moriscan verandah painted in dark pink, has been refurbished retaining its former glory, style and tradition, so that guests can experience the greatest comfort and service.

El Puerto is located close to the Route 38, in San Esteban, a small village close to La Cumbre.
